MOVEWELL COACHING PATHWAYS

ONE COACHING SYSTEM.
THREE CLEAR STARTING POINTS.

Whether you are preparing your body, rebuilding after rehabilitation or training for higher performance, MoveWell gives you a structured pathway based on your current capacity and the demands of your sport.

YOUR TRAINING SHOULD MATCH WHERE YOU ARE NOW

Athletes often receive programs based only on their final goal. However, the right program must also consider their current strength, training history, previous injuries, confidence and ability to handle sport demands.

MoveWell begins by identifying where you are now. We then build the next appropriate stage instead of pushing every athlete into the same program.

Start at the right level
Build before adding intensity
Progress when your body is ready
PATHWAY 1

PREPARE
STRENGTH-BASED PREHABILITATION

WHAT THIS MAY INCLUDE
  • Movement and training-history assessment
  • Foundational strength development
  • Movement control
  • Mobility where required
  • Balance and stability
  • Landing and deceleration skills
  • Progressive loading
  • Recovery and training habits
  • Preparation for a race, season or new training block

Prehabilitation prepares your body for the demands of training before small weaknesses, poor preparation or sudden increases in workload become bigger setbacks.

WHO THIS IS FOR
  • Athletes beginning a new training phase
  • Recreational athletes increasing training volume
  • Athletes preparing for a race or competition
  • People returning to regular activity after a long break
  • Athletes with recurring weaknesses or interruptions
  • People who want a stronger physical foundation
THE GOAL

The goal is not to make your body injury-proof. The goal is to improve strength, control and readiness so that your body is better prepared for the demands ahead.

PATHWAY 2

RETURN
RETURN-TO-SPORT COACHING

WHAT THIS MAY INCLUDE
  • Review of the athlete’s current rehabilitation stage
  • Communication with the physiotherapist where appropriate
  • Rebuilding general strength
  • Restoring confidence under load
  • Progressive running exposure
  • Jumping, landing and change-of-direction progression
  • Sport-specific conditioning
  • Training-load progression
  • Return-to-training preparation
  • Progress reviews and adjustments
WHO THIS IS FOR

Finishing treatment or rehabilitation does not always mean an athlete is fully ready for sport. Strength, fitness, confidence and sport-specific capacity may still need to be rebuilt.

MoveWell helps athletes transition from rehabilitation exercises into progressive strength and conditioning after appropriate clinical guidance or clearance.

THE GOAL

The goal is to close the gap between basic recovery and the physical demands of full training or competition.

  • Athletes completing physiotherapy
  • Athletes cleared to resume strength training
  • Athletes who are pain-free but not fully confident
  • Athletes rebuilding fitness after injury
  • Athletes returning to running, field sport or competition
  • Recreational and professional athletes needing a structured transition

MoveWell does not provide medical diagnosis or injury treatment. Return-to-sport coaching may require clearance or recommendations from an appropriate healthcare practitioner.

PATHWAY 3

PERFORM
PERFORMANCE COACHING

WHAT THIS MAY INCLUDE
  • Strength development
  • Power
  • Speed
  • Agility
  • Change of direction
  • Endurance
  • Sport-specific conditioning
  • Competition preparation
  • Training-load management
  • Recovery habits
  • Long-term athletic development
  • Performance testing and review
WHO THIS IS FOR
  • Recreational athletes pursuing a serious goal
  • Competitive amateur athletes
  • Professional athletes
  • Runners and triathletes
  • HYROX and hybrid athletes
  • Field and court-sport athletes
  • Strength athletes
  • Athletes preparing for an event, season or competition

Performance coaching develops the physical qualities needed to train, compete and perform at a higher level.

THE GOAL

The goal is to build the physical capacity required by your sport while supporting consistent training and long-term development.

YOU MAY MOVE BETWEEN PATHWAYS

The three pathways are not separate products that trap an athlete in one category. They represent different stages of development.

An athlete may begin with prehabilitation, progress into performance coaching and return to the Return pathway if injury or rehabilitation changes their needs.

The assessment and regular progress reviews help determine the right stage.

PREPARE → RETURN → PERFORM

Movement between pathways can go in either direction when circumstances change.

YOUR PROGRAM IS BUILT AROUND FIVE QUESTIONS

1.
What is your sport or physical goal?
2.
What can your body currently handle?
3.
What qualities need to be developed?
4.
What limitations or precautions must be respected?
5.
What is the next safe and useful progression?

Your program is based on the gap between your current capacity and the demands of your goal.
